May 2013*Set up and conduct hydroacoustic telemetry to monitor potential avenues of Asian carp in the event of invasion into the Upper Great lakes. *Actively collect and process fisheries data using active and passive fishing gear, including electofishing from the St. Mary's River and Lake Huron tributaries. *Collect and process water chemistry samples (conductivity, Chlorophyll A, pH, DO, eDNA) using multifaceted electronic meters. *Sample benthic macroinvertebrate using Ponar and Ekman Dredges. * Provide supervision to summer students, and assist with operation and maintenance of all field gear and vehicles.
